BACKGROUND:
The State Water Resources Control Board resumes hearings on CA WaterFix tomorrow. Specifically, the water board is tasked with determining determining whether or not to approve a joint petition filed by the Department of Water Resources (DWR) and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to add three new points of diversion to specified water right permits for the State Water Project and the Central Valley Project associated with the California WaterFix Project. These hearings will also inform the consideration of an application for a water quality certification pursuant to Clean Water Act section 401 for California WaterFix.

Delta residents and representatives from North Delta Cares will be in attendance, and are available for comment before and after the hearing.

Those who cannot attend in person can stream the hearing here and follow along with Restore the Delta on twitter for live-tweets.
