Special Eminent Domain and BDCP Response Workshop

Restore the Delta is holding a special workshop on Eminent Domain Issues related to the BDCP and community written responses to the Public Comment EIR Draft of the BDCP.

Featured Speakers:

* Attorney Tom Keeling, FREEMAN, D’AIUTO, PIERCE, GUREV, KEELING & WOLF
* Melinda Terry, General Manager, North Delta Water Agency

Subject Matter: Updates on Eminent Domain Issues and citizen preparation for responding to the BDCP.

Who should attend: Delta landowners, Delta Marina Owners, Delta area residents, fishermen, boaters, business owners, environmental group staff and members opposed to BDCP, Delta community leaders, and local Delta elected representatives and government employees working on BDCP response.

When:
November 13, 2013 — 4 to 8 p.m.

Where: The Reserve at Spanos Park
6301 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, CA 95219 (in Mount Diablo Room)

Cost: $20 suggested donation at the door to cover printed materials, facility needs, and a casual supper. However, nobody will be turned away.

State and Federal officials and employees working on the BDCP, the Delta Plan, California water boards, water or fishery agencies, or for the Delta Conservancy are excluded from this invitation. In addition, employees and representatives from water agencies receiving Delta exported water are excluded from this invitation. Last, NGO staff working to support the BDCP are also excluded from this invitation.
