Sacramento, CA- Restore the Delta, opponents of Gov. Brown’s rush to build Peripheral Tunnels that would drain the Delta and doom salmon and other Pacific fisheries, has made contact with Sand Hill Cranes who winter in the Sacramento-San Joaquin-San Francisco Bay Delta and arranged to host a Twitter Feed to make known their views on Gov. Brown’s new plan to turn their refuge into a tunneling and dumping ground.

“Restore the Delta will work hand-in-web with the Sand Hill Cranes to give voice to their perceptions of this new plan to tunnel under and dump waste upon their winter refuge in the Delta,” said Barbara Barrigan-Parrilla, executive director of Restore the Delta.

@MrSandhillcrane will be tweeting updates from their point of view.
