Bruce Tokars of Salmon Water Now has been prolific in producing informative videos about water politics and posting them online where they can reach a lot of viewers. His most recent effort is “Paper Water: and Other Sordid Tales.” This is a great overview of Stewart Resnick, the Kern Water Bank, The Monterey Amendments, and Paper Water. You can watch this in four parts on YouTube. The whole 35-minute video is also posted on Vimeo.
Dear Restore the Delta,
I was so happy to see the videos on the Kern County Water Bank and that you exposed the dasterdly deeds of DMB Associates and the Redwood City Saltworks project.
I am working through the Sierra Club to oppose and stop this development and would welcome your organization to become one of the many groups to be added to our list of opponents of the project for all the reasons the video outlines.
Thank you once again for this outstanding resource. I will be submitting it with my NOP Scoping Comments on the Saltworks Project and sending this video around to all the individuals and groups involved.
I also serve on the state Sierra Club Coastal, Water and Wetlands Committees addressing the Delta and many watershed issues affecting California. You may know Dan Sullivan and Mondy Lariz of Sierra Club noteriety.
All the best,
Cynthia “Cindy” Denny
